Does Designers think we all have king kong size trees?

It is just me or have designers all come out with huge ornament patterns this year? I am doing three personal exchanges for ornaments that I decided I should work on this week. So left jingle bell farm and started stitching but everything I found is huge.
Exhibit A by Barbara Ana
I love the patterns don't get me wrong but just wish they would not topple my tree. But did manage to find three reasonable size ornaments that are now all stitched and just need to get them together. I love ornament exhanges and enjoy looking at all the ornaments year after year.
This week is my birthdat week. I turn 37 next Sunday. How scary is that!

Trees, Trees and more trees

Can I just say that I am so enjoying Victoria Sampler's Jingle Bells trees. It is so much funny to stitch and love how it is turning out. It will be a heirloom for sure for my sister's family.. Been looking on the Victoria site, so many nice patterns , wonder what to to next?

November is here

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was pretty quiet, only about 12 kids so lots of Reese's peanut butter cups left for me. My absolute favorite treats!
Exciting news this week us that I am going to be an aunt of a bride. Very excited for my niece Caitlin. So November is starting off great. My favorite month maybe because my birthday is on the 22nd.
Found my bliss stitching Jingle bell farm for my sister. I love this especially stitching with silks.. i think she will like it but she needs to get me some beading needles if she is reading.I think this will be my biggest challenge ever as my speciality stitches that I am making up as I go along on just how to do them

Trying something new

Well I am waiting on some silk to start a project for my sister so I decided to try something new. A Laura J Perin design. I have never done this before Not even sure what it is called but I am enjoy it . Love the colors but hink I have to take up a life of crime to afford these. Pearl cottons and watercolors are not cheap.
